Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Who doesn't? And now, hundreds of people are getting the chance to win $1 million on national TV. Since it debuted last August, ABC's hit game show has created six instant millionaires. Many others have won hundreds and thousands of dollars by correctly answering Regis Philbin's questions in front of 31 million viewers.

Starting at the $100 level, contestants face 15 tough multiple-choice questions, often doubling their winnings with each correct answer. Players can choose to walk away from the game at any time with what they've won so far, but, if they have the courage to go for it, they could become instant millionaires.

The Chicagoland has been well-represented; more than 50 contestants have made it to New York and about ten have made it into the hot seat. This is a collection of some of their stories.
